Our Writers
Shabnam Aminmadani is a Nashville native and has always called Music City her home. She has a love for foreign languages and when she’s not at work she enjoys photographing and blogging about her two young boys. She recently gave up the fight and can almost say she’s proud to be a minivan owner.
Jennifer Cortez is the mother of three boys ages 10, 8 and 5. It’s really loud at her house. She’s also a writer, editor, blogger and homeschooler. She enjoys playing the guitar, working in her garden and reading. As the proud owner of a Honda Odyssey she says, “Respect the Van.”
Brigid Day regularly resorts to humor as she and her husband raise their daughter and son. When she’s not writing, you can find her behind her camera or at her sewing machine. She owns a local and on-line business Sweet Pea Embroidery. Chocolate and naps are two of her favorite things.

Jennifer Larson is a mother of two young boys and a freelance journalist and blogger living in Nashville, Tennessee. Although she enjoys covering serious matters such as health care and education, she secretly wishes she could pitch in the major leagues. And as a Southern girl born and raised, she also believes that “the bigger the hair, the closer to God.”
Anne McGraw is the mother of two young girls, an Atlanta native who passionately loves living in Nashville, and the co-owner of the Multiples auction site, Savings Multiplied. She and her husband, Ryan, are avid travelers and her one vow in life is to never own a minivan (not that there’s anything wrong with that).
GiGi Rose is a single mother of one precocious adolescent son. When not writing and blogging, this West Virginia transplant (she’s practically a native Nashvillian after twenty years) is a refugee social worker, mediocre knitter and voracious bookworm. She has never once in her life declined a cup of coffee.
